Mark Anthony Border

Mark Border, age 57, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Mark was born August 29, 1963, in Bad Neustadtz, Germany, to Dale Border and Barbara (Hart) Walters. He was a Veteran in the United States Army and worked as a cook for Evans Café, Holiday Inn, and O’Charley’s. Mark was a very avid dart player and Green Bay Packers fan.

Mark is survived by his girlfriend of 13 years, Sherrie Jefferys; mother, Barbara Walters; sisters, Christie Wright and Shannon Frasier; and nephews.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Dale Border; wife of 7 years, Cheryl L. (Abney) Border, who passed away in 1999; and niece, Alexandrea Hurt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and Burial will be Private.
