Mark Anthony Embry, age 67, of Evansville, IN, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Heart to Heart Hospice.
Mark was born August 7, 1957, in Evansville, IN, to Earl “Gene” and Juanita Fay Embry (Hill). He graduated from Harrison High School in 1976 and worked at PPG for over 30 years. Mark, a devoted father, went to great lengths for his children. They were never lacking in anything, and he cherished his grandchildren and great-granddaughter dearly. Family was of utmost importance to him, and he was always there for his loved ones.
Mark enjoyed gardening. He loved classic rock music, particularly Led Zeppelin. He was also passionate about IU basketball and thoroughbred racing. He would take his children on trips to watch horse races at places like Keeneland, Ellis Park, and Church Hill Downs. Mark was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Heather Schwindel (Jason); son, Mark “Aaron” Embry; brother, Roger Embry (Julie); grandchildren, Alexandria Davis (Jason) and Jason Schwindel Jr.; great granddaughter, Hensley Grace Davis; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
