Mark Alan Goad

Mark Alan Goad, age 50, of Evansville, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Mark was born, November 30, 1969 in Evansville, IN, to Ora Ray Goad, Jr. and Wilma (Broshears) Goad. He graduated from Castle High School in 1988. He and his family are  members of Bethel Church. Mark was the General District Manager of Pella Windows and Doors and formerly employed with Wood Specialty by Fehrenbachers for 22 years. He enjoyed fishing, home improvement projects, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his ”put” Shiloh. Mark was a collector of many things such as, cigars, trains, and nutcrackers. He was a devoted father, husband and follower of Christ. Mark enjoyed his quiet mornings outside in the Lord’s company and had a heart for leading others to the Lord.  

Mark is survived by his mother, Wilma; his loving and devoted wife of 15 years, Teresa (Jennings) Goad; daughters, Emilie Goad and Olivia Goad; sister, Cynthia Gray (Matthew); niece, Jocelyn Gray; and nephew, Elliott Gray.  

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Ora.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Bethel Church, 4400 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN, with Dr. Prince Samuel and Pastor Dave Schwambach officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery, Boonville, IN.  

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: Bethel Church at 4400 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Critical Care ICU staff at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville and their Bethel Church Family for their compassionate care for both Mark and family during this difficult time.
