Martha (Holmes) Kellams

Martha “Marty” (Holmes) Kellams, age 94, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 4:50 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018, at The Terrace at Solarbron.

She was born February 24, 1923, in Evansville, IN, to George & Helen (Ruff) Holmes. Marty graduated from Central High School and loved fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Marty is survived by daughter, Bettye Broyles of Wadesville; son, Donald (Christine) Kellams of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 73 years, Edward E. Kellams; son-in-law, Larry Broyles; and granddaughter, Billie June.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1400 E. Virginia, Evansville with Sister Jenny Miller officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Deaconess Hospice, 610 E. Walnut Street, Evansville.
