Mary Carolyn Williams, age 84 of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Hamilton Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mary was born July 20, 1941, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Wayne and Gertrude (Heurtz) Wilson. She graduated from Benson High School in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1959. Mary attended Lockyear School of Business for a time, and went into being an activities director in nursing facilities. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and dominoes. One of her most favorite hobbies was dancing, she could cut a rug! Mary was a wonderful mother, a loving wife, and devoted grandmother. Her love will forever be sprinkled in the memories of her family.
Mary is survived by her children, Robert (Melissa) Ellsworth, Lisa Ellsworth and Paul Ellsworth ; her grandchildren, Ryan Schillo (Jessica), Alissa Ellsworth, Tarahji Ellsworth (Peyton), Paul Elsworth Jr.; great grandbaby, River Raye Mixen; step-children, Cathy (James) Wells, Becky (James) Sackett and Dean (Kimberly) Williams; step-grandchildren, Anissa (Patrick) Simmons, Taylor Sackett, Taylor Williams and Corbin Williams.
Mary is preceded in death by her late husband, Bruce Williams; and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be held privately at Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
A livestream of the service will be available for viewing at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
