Mary J. (Vincent) Croft

Mary J. (Vincent) Croft, age 87, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Braun's Nursing Home.

Mary was born July 12, 1933, in Central City, KY, to Clarence and Virdie (Gish) Vincent. She worked as a receptionist and Certified Nurse Assistant for Braun's Nursing Home. She loved shopping, going out to lunch, reading magazines, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her beloved dog, Sissy.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Pamela Whitter, Carol Murray (Bill), Kimberly Croft, and Kristi Croft; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert Croft, who passed away in 1998; parents, Clarence and Virdie Vincent; children, Patricia “Sis” Bates, Roberta “Birdie” Stone, Debra “Katie” Pagett, and James Croft; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1400 East Virginia Street, Evansville, with Pastor Tony Yates officiating.
