Mary Edith (Conner) Langford

Mary Edith (Conner) Langford, age 79, passed away at Heart to Heart Hospice on September 29, 2022. She was born in Connersville, IN, to the late Harry and Edith Conner.

She enjoyed fishing with her family and was an avid reader. Her hobbies included crocheting, painting with water colors, and she also enjoyed ceramics. She was deeply devoted to her family and loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  

Mary was a graduate of Mater Dei High School. She was the first female supervisor at General Foods and completed her employment as an administrative assistant to the plant manager. 

Mary is survived by her sons, Kenneth Langford, Jr., (Marlena) and David Langford; brother, Thomas Conner (Becky); grandchildren, Luke, Hannah, Isaac, and Alex Langford; and great-grandchildren, Kayden, Jentry and Grayson Langford.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth I. Langford, Sr in 1979; brother, Joe Conner; and sister, Barbara Rhoades.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Ted Tempel officiating. Entombment will be at Park Lawn Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
