Mary J. Walling, age 94, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Linda E. White Hospice House.
Mary was born on January 15, 1932, in Central City, Kentucky, to George and Dinea (Morris) Spicer. She was a devoted housewife and a loving mother who dedicated her life to caring for her family.
Mary was affiliated with the No Ruz Grotto, the Riverbend Association, and was a member of the VFW Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Rustin of Evansville, granddaughter, Christina Walling of Evansville, great grandchildren, Damien Armstead, Kenneth Colbert, Jr., Keniyah Walling and Zon'Yell Walling and great great grandchildren, Jerimyah Armstead, La-King Nutter, Lyric Nutter and Jer-Rilynn Adams.
Mary is her proceeded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 55 years, Robert Curtis Walling; and a grandson, Zyrale Walling.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Linda E. White Hospice House for their excellent care and compassion shown to Mary during her time there.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 am until time of service, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
