Michael Lynn Blaine, II, age 40, of Evansville, IN, lost his hard-fought battle with Leukemia on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.
Michael was born December 20, 1979, in New Albany, IN, to Michael Blaine and Teresa Ann (Ray) Blaine. He graduated from Harrison High School and went on to attend Oakland City University. Michael was a member of the ROTC. He worked as a Support Manager at Walmart in Newburgh, IN. Michael was a part of Grace Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid fisherman and was good with his hands; he loved to build things and take them apart. He was a gamer and loved playing his video games with people around the world. Michael enjoyed listening to music. He had a wonderful heart and loved helping everyone.
Michael is survived by his mother, Teresa Blaine; loving wife of 2 years, Lana (Cole) Blaine; and son, Drew Michael Conner; aunts, Brenda Reed, Janet Polen (Tony Wilkerson); sisters-in-law, April Kroupa (Andi) and Tina Cole; in-laws, Joe and Ruth Cole; several cousins; and his childhood best friend, Cory Childers.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Michael Lynn Blaine, Sr.; and grandparents, William Conley Ray and Flora Ellen Dillbeck.
Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020, Grace Church of the Nazarene at 5029 Broadway, Evansville, IN.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Grace Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Brett Doninger officiating.
