Michele Victoria Horn – Erazo, age 72, of Newburgh, passed away at 11:40 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Golden Living Woodlands of Newburgh.
Michele was born January 7, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, to Kenneth Henry and Virginia Leona (Alfred) Horn. She worked as a Collection Manager, Bank Operations Manager, Security Guard, Certified Medical Assistant, and as a NASA Space Shuttle Technician. Michele loved movies with popcorn, dancing, cooking, and being with family most of all. She had a Pomeranian named Foxie that she loved very much and who filled her life with much joy and companionship. Special thanks to SWIRCA, all of her special caregivers, and especially Shannon Evetts, who so patiently and lovingly cared for her.
Michele is survived by her daughters, Zane Melvin (Mike) and Shannon Shumei Carter; son, Matthew Carter Baldridge (Sandra); sisters, Suzanne King (Harry) and Virginia Leona James; grandchildren, Rhiannon Carter, Mercedes Brown, Noah Melvin, Matthew Carter, Jr., and Marianna Carter; great grandchild, Lyris Henderson; step-grandchildren, Brian Melvin (Christine) and Chris Melvin (Amanda); and step-great grandchildren, Lyza Melvin, Lia Melvin, Lilly Melvin, and Charlotte Melvin.
Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Virginia Horn; and siblings, Joan Sneider, Beverly Merck, and Kenneth Horn.
Private Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Ernie Godshall officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
