Michelle R. Stuard

Michelle R. Stuard, age 62, of Evansville, IN, passed away June 21, 2024, at Linda E. White Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones.

Michelle was born August 23, 1961, in Santa Monica, CA, to the late Homer and Ruby (Duff) Stone.

Michelle is described by her family as having been a woman of strength who overcame whatever obstacles life had. She always strived to instill that strength into her children. She had many valued pastimes but going fishing was always a favorite. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Michelle is survived by her daughters, Brittany Stuard and Brianne Wagoner (Adam); son, Jason Stuard; sisters, Billie Cox (Mark) and Kimberly Faulkner; brothers, Danny McGill (Rhonda), Terry McGill (Chris), Larry McGill (Patty), Jerry McGill, and Kevin Darnell; grandchildren, Trenton, Nina, Preston, Nyah, Olyvia, Jonah, and Jovie; uncle, Tom Duff, companion in life, Jennifer Monroe (children, Will Monroe (Braxton) and Megan Monroe (Brandon); grandson, Greysen), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michelle is preceded in death by her parents and son, Joshua Stuard.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Jeff Keenan officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2024, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
