Mickey Lee Sturgeon

Mickey Lee Sturgeon, age 59, of Dale, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, in St. Joe, Arkansas. He was the son of Robert and Nancy (Kline) Sturgeon and was born on December 3, 1961 in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Mickey was a hardworking man and jack of all trades. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and four wheeling. Mickey touched many lives with his willingness to help anyone in need. He was very loved and will be dearly missed.

Mickey is survived by his dad, Robert Sturgeon of Indiana; wife Rebecca Sturgeon of Indiana; two sons, Timmy Sturgeon of Kentucky and Alex Sturgeon of Indiana; daughter, Brittany Leese (Richard) of Indiana; three stepdaughters, Tiffani Pitts of Kentucky, Cassie Evans and Felicia Evans both of Indiana; brother, Jeff Sturgeon (Debbie) of Kentucky; two sisters, Tammy Castillo (Jason), and Peggy Merriman (Matthew) of Indiana; adopted son, Erik of Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; countless other family members and many friends.

Mickey is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy; sister, Kimberly Kay; brother, Mark Sturgeon; step-mother, Darlene Sturgeon; and two infant grandsons, Jay & Hennessy.

A Private Service will be held at a later date.
