Mildred Stevens Obituary

Mildred E. Stevens, 86, of Evansville, died at 6:55 a,m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

She retired in 1980 as a secretary for Brown and Hubert Inc. She was a 25-year member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, John G. of Westfield, N.J.; a sister, Harriett Coon of Anderson, Ind.; a brother, Jesse Embree of Anderson; and two granddaughters, Sarah Stevens and Rachel Birchwood.

Her husband, Albert 0., died in 1960.

Services will be at 11 am. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., the Rev. Robert Nall officiating, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
