Mildred “Mickey” Lucille (Fellwock) Schillo, age 104, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Hamilton Pointe.
Mildred was born September 1, 1921, in Evansville, IN, to Arthur and Martha (Meier) Fellwock. She was a Veteran of WWII having served in the Pacific Theatre. In October of 2022, at the age of 101, she was able to be on Honor Flight 13. Mildred was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church and later became a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed shopping and going out to dinner with her best friend and sister, Vera.
Mildred is survived by her sons, Glenn Schillo (Angie) and Rev. Eric Schillo; grandchildren, Melissa Moyers, Ryan Schillo (Jessica), Nathaniel Schillo (Wedian), Bethany Harlow (Trent), Jacob Schillo, Erin Hanson (Eric); 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Raymond L. Schillo; daughter-in-law, Catherine Schillo; sister, Vera Hodge; and brothers, Wilbur, Robert, Arthur, and Kenneth Fellwock.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Rev. David Wiist officiating. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Mausoleum where American Legion Kapperman Post #44 will render military rites.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
