Nancy Bilimon, daughter of Neja Johnny and Likto Rilometo born on February 14 1948 in the Marshall Islands, passed away at the age of 77, on Jan 3 2026 at Celina OH.
Nancy was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her life and shaped her deep love for family, community, and tradition. She was profoundly proud of her Marshallese heritage and remained true to her culture and customs throughout her life, passing them on through stories, daily examples, and unwavering dedication to her family.
She was united in marriage to Elimelok Bilimon, and together they were blessed with sixteen children. From oldest to youngest, they are: Tarkieo Kiotak, Sandy Tenje, Lucia Bilimon, Elizabeth Bunglick, Jasper Billimon, Oliver Bilimon, Randy Bilimon, Florence Bilimon, Elfrida Tomeing, Shelly Bilimon, Lynn Atin, Salazer Bilimon, Slyvia Lalimo, Nan Bilimon, Tarjo Kajidrik, and Casper Nijo.
Nancy was blessed to live a long and meaningful life and had the rare joy of witnessing four generations of her bloodline. She will be deeply missed by her children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as all who knew and loved her. She was especially cherished for her many storytelling moments, which carried wisdom, humor, and the rich traditions of her Marshallese roots.
Services will be begin 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Marshallese United Church of Christ, 1468 Bellemeade Avenue, Evansville, IN, with Pastor Enja Jolet officiating.
Burial will take place Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Nancy’s legacy of faith, family, and Marshallese culture will live on for generations to come.
