Nancy Jane (Mobley) Willer

Nancy Jane (Mobley) Willer, age 76, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, peacefully at home with her loving husband Chuck. She was born on December 18, 1949, in Morganfield, KY, to Carl and Ruth (Freer) Mobley.

Nancy graduated from North High School in the class of 1967. Nancy worked at Welborn Hospital for 30 years. During her time at Welborn, she met her husband Chuck. After her time at Welborn, she went on to work at the Good Samaritan Home in the HR department for 15 years. She was an avid collector of antiques and had a beautiful collection of McCoy Pottery. Nancy was also a lover of all plants, but she especially enjoyed collecting cacti, succulents, and ferns. She loved to travel with her husband Chuck. Their favorite place to visit together was Mackinac Island, Michigan. Nancy loved to go antique shopping with her friends. She was also one of the longest bone marrow transplant survivors from Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, surviving 44 years.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Chuck Willer; Brothers, Jerry (Nelda) Freer, James Mobley, Carl (Jan) Mobley as well as many nieces and nephews.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth; her sisters, Judy, MaryJo, and Ruth; and her furry friends, Fritz and Hannah.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Weibert officiating.

Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
