Norma J. (London) Taylor, age 91, of Newburgh, IN, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.
Norma was born November 11, 1929, in Indianapolis, IN, to Cecil and Beulah (VanMeter) London. She graduated from Short Ridge High School in 1947 and worked as the Office Manager for Deluxe Insulated Glass before retiring in 1995. Norma was a member of Crossroad Christian Church and a former member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, and she enjoyed her church.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Sheila Hauck of Newburgh, IN, and Sharon Hammond (Charlie) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Ryan Hauck, Bryce Hauck, Chaz Hammond, and Lauren Trotter (Tony); and great grandchildren, Talan, Kaylee, Jackson, and Aaliyah.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Beulah London; husband, Leslie Ray Taylor, who passed away in 1987; and brothers, Charles London and Ralph London.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Washington Park North Cemetery, 2702 Kessler Boulevard West Drive, Indianapolis, IN, with Pastor Jeff Stratton officiating. Entombment will be in King Solomon Mausoleum.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. EST until service time, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Washington Park North Cemetery.
