Norman "Eugene" Conner

Norman “Eugene” Conner, age 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:25 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

Eugene was born May 5, 1942, in Boonville, IN, to William and Wilma (Perry) Conner. He attended Millersburg High School in 1960. He was a tech specialist for A&M Corporation for 32 years and retired in 1996. He enjoyed fishing and riding his Honda Goldwing.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Phyllis; daughter, Kris Conner; son, Keith Conner (Dee); sisters, Barbara Jeffries (Gary), Faith Green (Tony); brother, Ric Conner (Becky); stepson, Tony Bennett (Kim); stepdaughter, Trena Jenkins (Bill); 3 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Barbara (Bruce) Conner in 1962; 2nd wife Judy (Scales) Conner in 1995; brothers William “Gary” Conner in 1998, Mike Conner iin 2003.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Anthony Green and Reverend Rick Van Hoose officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
