Olive Harris Obituary

Olive M. Harris, 94, formerly of Evansville, died at 11 p.m. Monday at her daughter’s home in Chriesman, Texas.

She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Evansville.

Surviving are the daughter, Juanita Gamble; two sisters, Vivian Shrode and Dorothy Epley, both of Evansville; two grandchildren, John T. Gamble and Jaynie Hopkins; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Her husband, Frank, died in 1994.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Boone Funeral Home 5330 Washington Ave., the Rev. Lester Howard officiating, with burial in Grandview Cemetery in Spencer County, Ind.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
