Onterrio "Terry" Sharp

A beautiful life that began on August 2, 1988, Onterrio "Terry" Sharp, age 20, of Evansville, Indiana, our loving son, big brother, cousin, nephew, teammate and friend went to be with his Savior and our Father on Christmas day, 2008. The sun will shine a little brighter each day now that Terry's beautiful smile lights up his new home, just as it used to light up ours.

Terry graduated from Evansville Day School in 2006 and had attended the University of Evansville. He was currently enrolled at Ivy Tech, with plans to enter law enforcement. He was a member of Bethel Temple Community Church, where he was baptized at the age of fifteen.

Countless are the lives touched by Terry, through church, school, sports and work, as well as many other activities. Terry was well-known as a gifted athlete who loved to compete, as an insightful student who was always eager to engage in classroom discussions, as a friend who was always ready to make us laugh, as a big brother who was intent on protecting and caring for his brother and sister, and as a son who grew to become a beautiful young man and caring friend to both of his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Bethel Temple Community Church, 4400 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville with Pastor Bret Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville and again from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Bethel Temple Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Onterrio T. Sharp Memorial Scholarship Fund.
