Opal Juanita (Graham) Goben

Opal Juanita (Graham) Goben, age 92, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Hamilton Pointe.

Juanita was born August 31, 1930, in Evansville, IN, to Lancel Graham and Mary Margaret (Mosby) Graham. She attended Memorial High School and was a past member of Christian Fellowship Church. Juanita worked for Schultz's Department Store as a Buyer for the Children’s Department, and she enjoyed traveling to New York for them to see the Fashion Shows each year. In her later years, she worked as a Bookkeeper for Royal Child Daycare. Throughout her life, she shared with others about her love for Jesus Christ through Sunday School Teaching, Ladies’ Bible Studies, and in her later years, sharing the Lord with others through the Internet. The family is very blessed that she left them a great legacy of sharing the love of Christ to each generation. Juanita was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Jane Stinson (Bud); sons, Henry Goben, Jr. (Kathy), David Goben (Joyce), Bryan Goben (Jeannie), and Daniel Goben; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Lancel and Mary Graham; husband, Henry Goben, Sr., who passed away in 1992; sister, Delores Stinnett; and brothers, Murel Graham, Chester Graham, Robert Graham, and Joseph Graham.

Private Graveside Services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Evansville, IN.
