Orma L. Grimm, 56, of Newburgh, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She was active in the family business, Bert Grimm Custom Homes, and worked at Fine and Hatfield.
She was a 37-year member of Crossroads Christian Church, a 20-year member of Tri-Kappa, where she was the first recipient of the Most Outstanding Respected Member award, a 27-year member of the Women’s Club of Newburgh and a five-year member of the Diner’s Club.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Herbert; a daughter, Kelle Grimm of Newburgh; four sisters, Dorris Allison and Cleo Radcliffe, both of Washington, Ind., Joyce DeMotte of Petersburg, Ind,, and Roberta Brower of Brooksville, Fla.; three brothers, Iva “Bud,” Nolan and Billy Ray Goodwin, all of Washington; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Craig, in 1988.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Steve Wyatt officiating, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
