Pamela "Pam" Shears

Pamela “Pam” Shears, of Franklin, TN, passed away April 11, 2023.

Pam was born June 1, 1950, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Lial and Bettye Gresham. She grew up in a neighborhood where she played outside with friends until dusk was signaled by street lights, enjoyed backyard cookouts together, and had friends stay the night for sleep-overs. Pam graduated from Harrison High School in 1968 and attended Indiana State University. Pam married the love of her life, Bill Shears, in 1970. She worked briefly for Atlas Vann Lines, and when she and Bill started their family, she was blessed to be able to stay home and raise her children.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronnie Gresham.

Pam is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Bill Shears; daughters, Tiffany Giefer and Darby Lennon; sisters, Peggy Donovan, Sally Ballard, Debbie Engelbrecht, and Robin McKinney; and sister-in-law, Suzi Rust.

A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Knob Hill House, 1024 IN-662 West, Newburgh, IN. The family requests you please dress casually, very comfortably, care free, and looking cool.
