Patrick Lynn McFadden

Patrick Lynn McFadden, 64, of Lakewood, Colorado, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, died April 20, 2021.

Patrick was born August 31, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana, to James Frederick and Lorene L. E. (Krusenklaus) McFadden, the third of three children. Patrick was confirmed at the Bethlehem United Church of Christ and graduated from North High School in Evansville, Indiana. Pat was a carpenter by trade, beginning his career in the residential construction business. He worked for Baker Concrete Construction and as a concrete site supervisor on projects including the construction of Denver International Airport runway and several theme parks and hotels in Orlando, Florida. He was a construction project supervisor for several phases of the Orlando Convention Center. Patrick met Jane Verni, his wife of 27 years, while working as a construction supervisor at a popular Disney resort. They shared many wonderful times together and she would tell you that Pat was the kindest, gentlest person she had ever met—a great guy. He was well-loved by the entire family. Patrick was a likable conversationalist with an infectious sense of humor. He was a storyteller with an endearing smile who captured the attention of friend and stranger alike. He was a passionate man who prided himself on his hospitality, ensuring those he entertained would leave with a full belly and fond memories.  Pat enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and boating, often captaining trips on the many lakes and rivers surrounding his home.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Janie (Verni) McFadden and stepson Christopher Finn (Tiffany), and daughter Jamie Lynn Watts (Brian), brothers Michael McFadden (Sharon) and Ralph McFadden of Evansville, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family time of remembrance will be held at a later date.
