Paul H. Feistel, age 90, of Newburgh, IN, went home to be with the Lord at 11:52 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Linda White Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born September 29, 1930, in Evansville, IN, to Paul J. Feistel and Lillian O. (Daily) Feistel. He attended Bosse High School for two years and the school of Mechanic Arts for two years until graduating in 1948. Paul worked for Mesker Steel, Servel, Wilke Engineering and finished his career as part owner of Allied Structural Drafting. He enjoyed playing Bridge, Clabber, Ping pong and Golf. Paul and his wife, Carroll were past members of the Coterie Dance Club and Central Turners. They both volunteered their time for Meals on Wheels for 15 years, and The Red Cross Blood Services delivering blood for 7 years. Paul was a proud, lifelong resident of Evansville and Newburgh. He loved and supported the local baseball teams, Evansville Triplets and Otters. Paul and Carroll attended McCutchanville Community Methodist Church for 10 years and more recently Living Word of Newburgh. They loved reading and studying the Bible together. Paul was a soft spoken and loving father, grandfather and husband. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carroll Rae (Miller) Feistel; daughter, Linda Ruffner (Mike) of San Antonio, TX; son, Gregory Feistel of Evansville; stepson, Perry George Walker (Anastasia) of Wabash, IN; brother, Dr. Gerald Feistel of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Lauren Ruffner Sandoval, Stephen Feistel (Jessica), Alex Feistel (Kinsey Coble); step grandchildren, Amanda Hendrix, Tara Walker (Derrick); great grandchildren, Eliott and Bennett Sandoval, Brayden, Caleb, Oliver and Avery Lou Feistel; step great grandchildren, Katie Coin, Mason Russ and Isabella Walker.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Paul J. and Lillian; daughter in-law, Dotty Feistel; and the mother of his children, Barbara Feistel.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at Park Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1526 S. Green River Rd, Evansville, IN with Pastor Fritz Kaufman officiating.
