Paula Ann (White) Gossar, age 68, of Evansville, IN, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.
Paula was born November 27, 1956, in Evansville, IN, to Robert J. and Katherine (Conner) White. She attended Central High School. She loved her Lord and was a former member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She met Gary while working at the Blind Association, and they were happily married a year later. Paula enjoyed riding her bike around her neighborhood, especially in the quiet morning hours, and she enjoyed collecting stuffed rabbits and creating stories for them. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and she loved her family.
Paula is survived by her mother, Katherine White; her loving husband of 50 years, Gary R. Gossar; son, Seth A. Gossar (Shannon); grandchildren, Matthew Gossar and Chloe Gossar; great grandson, Corbyn; sisters, Vickie Smith and Janice Jackson; niece, Dwan Shiver; nephews, James Sweeney and Harold Sweeney; and grandnephews, Garrett, Gavin, and Jakob.
Paula is preceded in death by her father, Robert J. White, who passed away in 2003.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Park Lawn Mausoleum, 1526 S. Green River Road, Evansville, with Pastor Joey Pearson officiating.
Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time, 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Park Lawn Mausoleum.
