Pearl (Hudson) Crabtree, age 91, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Home.
Pearl was born June 24, 1930, in Evansville, IN, to Charles and Willetta Elizabeth (Loesch) Hudson. She graduated from Bosse High School. Pearl worked as a Teacher’s Aide and most recently as a helper on a School Bus with the Crittenden County School District. She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, fishing, and spending time with her Hardee’s friends. Pearl especially loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Pearl is survived by her grandson, Randy Dickenson (Marilyn) of Washington State; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; caregiver and nephew, Delbert Hudson, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willetta Hudson; husband of 60 years, James Crabtree, who passed away in 2007; daughters, Linda Dickenson and Sandra Crabtree; brothers, Charles Hudson, Gilbert Hudson, Wilfred Hudson, Earl “Bud” Hudson, Arthur Hudson, Delbert Hudson, Jimmy Hudson, and Norman Hudson; and sisters, Charlotte Clark and Helen Striegel.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Ho me, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holtzmeyer officiating.
