Peggy (Herrell) Housman

Peggy Housman, age 69, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 2:25 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Peggy was born August 15, 1949, in Evansville, IN, to Robert and Margaret (Moore) Herrell. Peggy showed love and compassion to everyone, never meeting a stranger.  She enjoyed crafting, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, John Housman; daughter, Connie Karcher (Kevin); son, Shawn Housman (Jennifer); sister, Glenda Pittman (Bob); brothers, Donnie, David, and Mark Herrell; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Schwambach officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.  

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
