Randall "Randy" Ray Hansen

Randall “Randy” Hansen, age 71, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Randy was born May 13, 1954, in Evansville, Indiana, to Rolland and Rosemarie (Cierocke) Hansen. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1972. After graduating, Randy attended the University of Miami. Shortly thereafter, Randy came back to Evansville to help his father with the family business, Hansen Business Forms. In 1978, Randy married Deborah Work, and together they had their son, Zachary. Randy has always been an avid fisherman over the years. He’s been quite the collector of many things, including sporting goods.  Randy has also been a board member for the Red Brush Rifle Range and a member of the Evansville Military Collectors Club. The highlight of his day was lunchtime with the fellas at the American Legion Post 44 in Newburgh at the Algonquin Round Table, that happened to be square.

Randy is survived by his son, Zach Hansen; significant other, Sharon Roach; brother, Rick (Dana) Hansen; sisters in law, Donna Crowe-Hansen and Jenny (Jeff) Byrley; niece, Mary Hansen; nephews, Joe Hansen, Evan Hansen, Justin Byrley, Ryan Byrley, Adam Byrley, and Evan Hansen.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents; his late wife, Deborah Hansen; his brother, Russ Hansen.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Stephen Russ officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
