Rhonda Fulkerson McGill

Rhonda Fulkerson McGill, age 69, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at home with her loved ones by her side. 

Rhonda was born June 19, 1955, in Evansville, IN, to the late Donald and Norma (Padgett) Duff. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1974. Rhonda attended Vann Avenue Baptist Church. She worked loyally as an EKG technician in the Cardiac Department at St. Mary's Hospital for many years, even throughout the transition to St. Vincent. Rhonda loved listening to music and proudly sang along to every word without skipping a beat, especially if it was Elvis or old country songs. She also enjoyed four-wheel riding and sitting by the bonfire until the wee hours of the morning, talking, laughing, and crying - but most importantly just being together as a family. Through both hard times and joy, Rhonda loved nothing more than surrounding herself by loved ones. Her family, whom she loved fiercely, would all agree without a doubt, Rhonda was truly the glue that held us all together. 

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, A.D. McGill; sons, Don Fulkerson (Dana Hajek) and Scott McGill; sisters, Susan Keown, Donna Beshears, Sherry Carver (Jeff), Patty McGill (Larry), and Kim Stewart (Bob); brothers, Allen Duff (Michelle) and Isaac Duff; grandchildren, Mathew (Katie), Mason, Maddex, Cameron, and Chayse Fulkerson; and great granddaughter, Lainey Jo Fulkerson.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Norma Duff; grandson, Destyn Fulkerson in 1997; and son, Richard Fulkerson, 2012.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 27, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Tom Duff officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel and again from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Monday, January 27, 2025.
