Richard "Rick" W. Dickinson

Richard “Rick” W. Dickinson, age 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Rick was born November 23, 1956, in Evansville, IN to William “Darrell”, Sr. and Wyota L. (Chism) Dickinson. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1973 and earned an Associate’s degree from ITT Technical Institute. He was the proud owner of Rick’s Sports Bar for 20 years. Rick enjoyed boating on the river and at Lake Barkley, tinkering, and spending time with his grandkids.  

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Vicki (Bentley) Dickinson; son, Nick Dickinson; daughter, Natalie Case (Brian); brother, Mike Dickinson (Jodi); grandchildren, Oaklee Case and Owen Case; niece, Andie Dickinson; nephews, Josh Dickinson and Jason Dickinson; brother-in-law, Steve Bentley; and sister-in-law, Becky Bentley.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William “Darrell” Dickinson, Jr.; and nephew, Chris Dickinson.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Rick’s Sports Bar at 1531 S. Green River Rd.
