Ricky D. Gower

Ricky D. Gower, age 55, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 9:41 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital.

Ricky was born August 21,1964, in Henderson, KY, to Ronald Dean Gower and Joyce Blake Gower. He graduated from Henderson County High School in 1982. Ricky was a manager at Auto Body Clinic in Cape Coral, FL for many years. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, Disney, and his Ford truck. Ricky loved being surrounded by family and he spent many hours with his Ultima Online friends. He enjoyed spreading laughter and being a prankster. Ricky loved Reba McEntire, Maroon Five, and Brooks and Dunn.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Joyce Blake Gower; sisters, Catherine Gower-Brown of Henderson, KY,  Susan Chandler (Joe) of Henderson, KY, and Kim Gower of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Steven Gower of Aurora, CO; nieces and nephews, Misty Colvin, Crystal Durivage, Scott Gower, Jimmy Garrett, Mathew Garrett, Nicole Gower, Heather Gower, Andrew Poole, Brittany Thomason, Mikey Gower; and many great nieces and nephews.

Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Dean Gower; brothers, Randy Gower and Jeff Gower; niece, Laura Poole.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be in Big Hill Cemetery.
