Ricky Dale "Stoney" Stone

Ricky Dale “Stoney” Stone, age 76, of Newburgh, IN, passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Stoney was born August 12, 1948, in Washington, IN, to Lester Stone and Bonnie (Loveless) Clark. He was a Veteran in the United States Army, serving in Korea during the Vietnam War. Stoney retired from Whirlpool after 42 years of working as an Operator. After retirement, he enjoyed working in various departments for Auto Zone in Newburgh. Stoney enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, boating, and fishing. He especially loved his family and spending time with his family and grandkids.

Stoney is survived by his daughters, Amy Williams (Tracy) and Robin Richardson (Eric); son, Troy Williams (Jeanine); grandchildren, Aaron Williams, and Jessica Alvarez (Daniel), Hayley Kikuchi (Masazumi), Nick Williams, Becca Williams; sisters, Sandy McCracken (J.R.), Cathy Heaton (Allen); brothers, Kevin Stone (Karen), J.R. Stone (Belinda), Bill Clark (Anita), Roger Clark, and Brian Clark; fur baby, Oscar; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Stoney is preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Rhonda J. (Williams) Burke-Stone, who passed away July 3, 2024; and parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST at Ayrshire Valley Church, 1947 E. County Road 375 S., Winslow, IN. Burial will be Private at Oak Hill Cemetery, Evansville, IN.
