Rita S. (Holley) Stricker

Rita S. (Holley) Stricker, age 68, of Lynnville, IN, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Brickyard Healthcare.

Rita was born July 26, 1956, in Evansville, IN, to Morgan Holley and Joyce (Schofield) Holley. She graduated from Bosse High School. Rita worked as an Administrative Assistant for The Heart Group at St. Vincent Hospital. She also worked for a children’s cancer hospital in Dallas, TX. Rita enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts and playing Hand and Foot card game. She loved her Weiner dogs and Rosie.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Jeff Stricker; sisters, Peggy Holley Cox Robinson (Billy), Judy Holley Roberts Smith, and Mary Ellen Holley (Owen Hook); and brother, Alan Holley (Jennifer).

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Joyce Holley; brother, William Holley; sister, Paula Brandsasse; and nephew, Adam Roberts.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
