Robert H. Goodloe, Sr.

Robert “Bob” H. Goodloe, Sr., age 89, of Evansville, IN, departed from this life January 17, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital Evansville surrounded by his family.

Robert was born September 28, 1930, in Hohenwald, TN, to Paul and Susie (Robinson) Goodloe. He graduated from Dickson High School in Dickson, TN.  Robert received his Associate Degree from Bramwell Business College. He served his country as a medic in the United States Army during the Korean War. Robert retired from Whirlpool. His most rewarding work was preaching the Gospel at Earl C. Breckenridge Job Corps.

To cherish his memory, Robert leaves his wife of 66 years, Fannie (Hollerman) Goodloe; son, Robert H. Goodloe, Jr. (Betty); Kathy Goodloe; 7 grandchildren, Marcia, Ronnetta, Leah Jones (Willie), Robert H. Goodloe, III, Jessica, Paul and Olivia; 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Paul W., Walter F., Wilma Jones, Sarah LaRue, Samuel and Terry.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Washington Avenue Church of Christ, 4001 Washington Avenue with Alan Bush officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum. 

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Washington Avenue Church of Christ.
