Robert "Bob" Crow Obituary

Robert A. Crow, age 94, of Evansville, IN, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Bob was born August 18, 1928, in Evansville, IN, to A.P.H. and Minnie Crow. He was a 1946 graduate of Reitz High School and was a Veteran in the United States Army. He established Natchez Corporation in 1969 and eventually retired in 2022.

Bob was a lifetime member of Centenary United Methodist Church and an active member of the DAV. He served on many church councils and community groups and was appointed to the Evansville Building Commission Board. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend.  Bob always delighted in helping others. His big heart and strong Faith were evident in his unconditional love.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Leona “Lee” Crow; children, Jennifer (Crow) Chung, Sarah (Crow) Nunn, Susan (Crow) Elpers, Jeanne Crow, Bruce Crow, Bryan Crow, Brad Crow, and Brent Crow; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, John Crow; and sisters, Dorothy Crow and Mildred Crow.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 14340 Old State Road, Evansville, with Reverend George Purnell officiating. Burial will be in Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery where full military rites will be rendered by the American Legion Kapperman Post 44.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Centenary United Methodist Church.
