Ronald E. Menke, age 86, of Evansville, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Ronald was born September 29, 1939, in Evansville, to Clarence and Elida (Wellman) Menke. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1957. Ronald worked for Keller Crescent Printing for 42 years. He was a lifetime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, auto racing, bicycling, exercising, and working in the yard.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Sue (Hoover) Menke; sons, Kim Menke (Kristy Ashby) – Georgetown, KY and Tony Menke (Rebecca Thomas) - Evansville, IN; sister, Claire (Menke) Mills - Spring, TX; grandchildren, Mathew Menke (Haley Donahue) - Wadesville, IN, Brenna Menke (Joshua Monzel) - Sheridan, IN, Jared Menke (Stephanie Furnari) - Carle Place, NY, Mark Menke – Brookings, SD (Alaina Wilson) – Trenton, GA; and great grandson, Callahan Menke - Wadesville, IN.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marjorie (Menke) Williams- Evansville, IN.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Rev. Jim Culver officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
