Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Morris, age 66, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville.
Ronnie was born March 14, 1959, in Evansville, IN, to Richard and Carolyn Sue (Schnabel) Morris. He attended Harrison High School and was a Carpenter for the Local 90. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He especially loved his grandkids and spending time with them. Ronnie enjoyed camping and woodworking, and enjoyed trips to Gatlinburg with his family.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sandie (DeTalente) Morris; children, Brooke Deters (Danny), Ronnie Morris II (Tracee), Eli Morris (Kelsea); sister, Karen McCallister; brother, Richard Morris; grandchildren, Jerzie, Malachi, Zaythen, Quinzee, Cole, Karson and Caroline; and great grandchildren, Bentley and Levi; special fur babies, Lucy and Indy; and several nieces and nephews.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ralph Morris and Randy Morris.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will be Private.
Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
