Rose Marie "Peggy" (Yeckering) Doss

Rose Marie “Peggy” (Yeckering) Doss, age 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Peggy was born November 28, 1943, in Evansville, IN, to John and Leona (Bass) Yeckering. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1971 and was of the Catholic Faith. Peggy worked as a Nursing Assistant and Unit Secretary for Deaconess Hospital for 18 years. She loved coloring, playing pool, playing games on her computer, and watching TV.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Moyer (Leroy) and Judy Reeb (Jack); sister, Margaret Bische; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and friend and caregiver, Bryan Bredhold.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Yeckering; sister, Mary Louis Yeckering; and brothers, Kenneth Yeckering, Joe Yeckering, and Don Yeckering.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, February 24, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
