Roy "Tony" A. Merimee

Roy A. “Tony” Merimee, age 56, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Tony was born October 4, 1969, in Evansville, Indiana, to Randy and Debbie (King) Merimee. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1988. Tony was an avid mechanic, some would say he was a car nerd. For years, he worked in mechanic shops, and most recently was the manager of Goodyear Raben Tire on the westside. Tony loved boating and took his pontoon boat out any time he could. Additionally, he enjoyed camping and being spending time outdoors. Tony was a great dad and loved his daughters very much. Tony was a son, a father, a brother, and so many more things to everyone who loved and knew him.

Tony is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Davis and Kyrsten (Chayce) Parker; his dad and stepmother, Randy and Debbie Merimee; his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Ellis King; his grandchildren, Ryder, Charlotte and Melody; his sister, Tammy Dean; his nephews, Corey Dean and Logan Dean; his uncles, Sonny (Karen) Miller, Danny Miller, Steve (Marguerite) Miller, Joe (Pat) Merimee, and Mike Merimee; his aunts, Sue Peerman and Judy (Darce) Silver; and several cousins.

Tony is preceded in death by all of his grandparents; an aunt and several uncles.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Cullison officiating.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
