Roynettie Lucretia (Browning) Salisbury, age 67, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at St Vincent Hospital – Evansville.
Roynettie was born January 17, 1954, in Flint, MI, to Denver Roy Browning and Merland Belle Gregory-Ricks. She worked as a truck driver for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxilary at VFW Post 1111 in Mooresville, IN, and she was a member of the Catholic Order of the Franciscans. Roynettie enjoyed painting, all crafts, knitting, crocheting, and baking exquisite cakes.
Roynettie is survived by her husband, William Salisbury; daughter, Tovahnna Corne (Jeremy) of Florida; sons, Matthew Rhodes (Melissa) of Florida and Chrystopher Rhodes (Melissa) of Ohio; stepdaughter, Allison Chouinard (Mitchell) of California; stepson, Bradford Rhodes of Kentucky; sister, Kathy Summers of Indiana; brothers, Joe Browning (Jenny) of Indiana, David Browning (Gisela) of Indiana, Bill Ricks (Christina) of Arkansas, and Denver “Keith” Taylor of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Roynettie is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Browning and Merland Gregory-Ricks; grandparents; 2 granddaughters; and brother-in-law, Larry Summers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at later date. Burial will be Private.
