Ruby Price

Ruby G. Price, 93, of Evansville, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, at her home of a stroke. She had been a private nurse.

She was a charter member of Christ Chapel.

Surviving are two daugh­ters, Millie Rager of Evansville and Jean Sumner of Drakes Owensboro, Ky; a son, the Rev. J. Thomas of Evansville; a sister, Pearl Childers of Evansville; seven grandchildren, Sherry TerMarsch, Karen Bruce, Stephen and Mitchell Sumner, Judy Randolph, Chequeta Di­vine and Beverly Fithian; 20 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Her husband, the Rev. Harley Price, died in 1983.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Beechmont, Ky., the Rev. Larry Gerner officiating, with burial in Ebenezer Ceme­tery in Drakesboro.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel in Evans­ville and from 10 a.m. to ser­vice time at Tucker Funeral Home.
