Ruth Ellen (Fulkerson) Lynch

Ruth E. (Fulkerson) Lynch, age 72, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.

Ruth was born June 19, 1950, in Evansville, IN, to Lenora C. (Davis) Fulkerson. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1968. She was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church, and she loved being a caretaker for older women. Ruth also enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, fishing, and hilltop spot shoot.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Tim Lynch and Chris Lynch (Gayle); sisters, Travis Lee Everett (Butch), Susan VanDunk, and Teena Marie Fulkerson; brothers, Roger Fulkerson (Janette) and Wayne Fulkerson (Martha); grandchildren, Devon (Laurrainn), Tyler, Jessica (Christian), Dustin, Nick (Maddie), Lacie (Ryan), and Faith (Nathan); and great grandchildren, Carson, Addilynn, Lily, Lincoln, Alex, Aidan, Spencer, April, and Cam.

Ruth is preceded in death by her mother, Lenora Fulkerson; husband of 52 years, Gerald Michael Lynch; sister, Anna Gross; and brother-in-law, Pete VanDunk.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville.
