Samantha Rose Robbins

Samantha Rose Robbins, age 27, of Evansville, IN, went home to be with Jesus at 2:56 a.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at home.

Samantha was born June 16, 1994, in Evansville, IN, to John Patrick Robbins and Tamara Rose “Rosie” (Brothers) Robbins. She attended New Day Fellowship and worked as a waitress at Bandanas. She loved wildflowers, shopping, going to yard sales, and eating every chance she got.

Samantha would be the first to tell you that her life was a struggle. She said the devil’s attacks on her was so strong because God had something great planned for her life. Recently, she was drawing closer to the Lord, and even though it looks like her life ended, it’s really just begun. God’s plan will be carried out through her boys and everyone who loved her.

A recent post she made sums it up: You are not the darkness you endured. You are the light that refused to surrender.

Samantha is survived by her father, John Robbins (Jennifer); mother, Tamara Rosie Robbins; sons, Keelan Robbins and Kyrie Robbins; siblings, Alicia Cook, John Dwayne Robbins, and Derrick Robbins; nieces and nephews, Jaron Stewart, Aleigha Cook, Larry Cook, Adrien Robbins, Tori Robbins, and Jalen Cook; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Chaplain David Weibert.

Samantha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Glenn and Peggy Brothers, Norma Robbins, and Herbert Hatt.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Bill Heard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
