Sandra (Kokos) Doss

Sandra “Sandi” Doss (Kokos), age 78, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Primrose Community Center.

Sandi was born August 1, 1947, to James C. Miller and Betty Jane Alvey (Temme). She graduated from Reitz High School in 1965. Her love for Christ explains most of her life. Being determined and strong willed and loved by all she had the privilege to meet, including countless friends, neighbors and co-workers. Sandi worked for K-Mart in loss prevention. She attended Calvary Temple Assembly of God for many years and most recently attended Crossroads Christian Church. Sandi was a talented singer, and had a witty sense of humor. Her heart and life gave lasting hope to many.

Sandi is survived by her daughters: Lisa Sellers (Eric Langford) and Lori White (Chris); sister, Jean Bihm (Paul); grandchildren, Hailey Craig-Jones (Morgan), Kayla White, Colton White, Daniel Sellers (Karley), and Carson White; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Sandi is preceded in death by her momma and daddy that she admired with all her heart and soul; and her husband, Paul Doss, who passed away in 2005.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Dan Hendricks and Phil Heller officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 1800 St. George Road, Evansville, In, 47711.

Friends may visit from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m., Saturday, November, 29, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
