Sandra J. (Dosch) Martin

Sandra J. (Dosch) Martin passed from this life on Monday, November 15, 2021 to be with her Lord and Savior.

Sandra was born July 15, 1939, in Boonville, IN, to Harold R. and Mildred (McLemore) Dosch.

As a teenager she sang at WHAS Radio Hi-Variety Program in Louisville, KY. She graduated from Devry Beauty School and from the University of Evansville Real Estate School. Sandra was a member of New Life Ministries. She loved shopping, working in her flower garden, creating arts and crafts, and making wedding floral arrangements. Years ago, she decorated Droste’s Jewelry Shoppe for Christmas.

Sandra is survived by husband, Douglas F. Martin; daughter-in-law, Karen Esche; son, Brian Esche (Amy); grandchildren, Christopher Esche (Erica); Sarah Timmons (Jacob), and Conner Esche; great grandchildren, Abigail Esche, Audrey Esche, and Layla Timmons; brother, Jerry Dosch; stepchildren, Robert Martin (Amanda), Teresa Gunn, Jennifer McKee, Diana Effinger, Bill McKee and Allen McKee; and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred Dosch; first husband and father of her children, L. Edward Esche, who passed away in 1981; second husband M. Richard McKee, who passed away in 2008; and son, Kevin L. Esche.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2021, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, November 19, 2021, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
