Sarah J. (Doench) Champion, 34, of Evansville, died at 10:13 p.m. yesterday from cancer at the home of her parents.
Mrs. Champion, a homemaker, was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas J. II; a daughter, Katie M. Champion; and a son, Casey T. Champion, both at home; her parents, William and Sharon (Daugherty) Doench of Evansville; sisters, Linda S. McDivitt and Susan K. Montgomery, both of Evansville; brothers, Douglas R. Doench of Evansville and Daniel W. Doench of Cadiz, Ky.; her grandmother, Henrietta Fravel of Fulton, Mo.; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thomas and Mayetta Champion of Evansville; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Boone Funeral Home — 5330 Washington Ave., with the Revs. Brian Jones and Richard Miller officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
The family said friends, if they wish, may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Evansville Humane Society.
