Scott Harry Alverson

Scott Harry Alverson, age 64, of Martinsburg, WV, previously of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Scott was born August 10, 1960, in Chicago, IL, to Jack D. and Barbara (Weber) Alverson. He graduated from Memorial High School, and he earned his Degree in Telecommunications. Scott worked for the Discovery Channel as a Telecommunication Technician for several years. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan, and he enjoyed watching all their games.

Scott is survived by his wife, Lori Alverson; son, Christopher Lundberg (Darren); sister, Chelly Worster (Mark); brothers, Mark Alverson and Jeff Alverson (Paula); sister-in-law, Paula Tieken (Tom); 10 Nieces and Nephews; 11 Great Nieces and Great Nephews; and 1 Great Great Nephew.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jody Alverson.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
