Scott J. Casey

Scott J. Casey, age 50, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 5:32 a.m. on February 10, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown.

Scott was born September 4, 1970, in Henderson, KY, to Billy G. and Elda Ree (Hope) Piper-Casey. Scott graduated from Henderson County High School and continued his education and received two B.S. degrees, one from George Washington University and the other from the University of Kentucky. Scott loved UK Basketball and Washington Redskins Football. He was an avid reader and loved his dear, Bella, his furbaby.

He is survived by his parents, Ree & Jimmy Piper and Billy & Estelle Casey, all of Henderson, KY; sisters, Sheree Fulkerson, and Sandra Jo Casey, both of Henderson, brother, Steve Casey (Wendy), of Spottsville, KY; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Frields, A.J. Casey (Megan), Matt Casey (Amanda), Adam Casey; and great nieces and nephews, Alana Jackson, Sherea Jackson, Emerson Casey, Blythe Casey.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Steve and Wendy Casey officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
