Shawna Marie Sisk

Shawna Marie Sisk, age 40, of Evansville, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 24, 2025.

Shawna was born November 15, 1984, in Evansville, IN, to Terry Sisk and Susan (Horton) Hardin. She graduated from Harrison High School. Shawna attended the University of Northern Iowa for her teaching degree. She worked in many aspects of the real estate business and recently acquired her real estate license. Shawna was raised in church with a strong faith in God. Shawna touched many hearts not only in Evansville but in Waterloo, IA for which she resided for 15 years. She had an outgoing personality, making many friendships whom she leaves behind. She was a ray of sunshine. Shawna lived for her daughter and her daughter lived for her.

Shawna is survived by her mother, Susan Hardin and her father Brian Hardin; father Terry Sisk and wife JoAnna; beloved daughter, Wrenley Quinn Sue; sister, Kristen Michelle Sisk (Jeffrey Kerner); brother, Wyatt Michael Hardin (Gracie Davidson); Justin Crowley (Melanie); sister, Jessica (Crowley) Kendall (Erich); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Shawna is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Francis Sisk, Robert “Bobby” and JoAnn Horton, and Buren “Mike” and Betty Hardin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kenneth Raymes officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2025, and again from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
